Strobe/Flash Lighting Kits

Strobe lights are specialized flash lights with a standard color temperature of 5500K (sunlight color temperature). Flash lighting are extremely power efficient, flashing only once every time they are used. If we put a flash, halogen, and fluorescent light next to each other and only allowed each light to consume the same wattage of power, the strobe light would come out first place in the amount of light put out per wattage used. Specially designed flash tubes have an ultra, long-life (around 10,000 flashes). There are more accessories for flash lighting than any other lights on the market. The variety of accessories available allows the user to use their strobe lighting(s) in many different settings.

Flash lighting are not suitable with any type of camera. Our Flash lighting are specially designed for cameras with functions M or Tv. Listed below are a couple guidelines you should consider when choosing your Flash lighting and strobe light accessory.

Selecting wattage:
500W and under suit small-sized/home studios (10ft. x 10ft.) (*1)
500 and 1000W suit medium-sized studios (10-15ft. x 10-15 ft.) (*1)
1000W and higher suit large scale studios (15ft. x 15ft. or above) (*1)

This strobe lighting kit uses AS-150 strobe lights. Each strobe unit will deliver around 120w/s of light to your shoot subject and can be controlled independently through the switches located on the rear of the light bank. A single AS-150 strobe light may not deliver much power or brightness; however, the level of luminosity gets increased drastically as all 3 strobe lights are switched on and fire simultaneously. At first glance, the AS-150 may look simple in design, but it also provides useful features found in other larger strobe units, like the PS-300 or HS-2000. In short, this strobe lighting kit will give you around 720w/s of brightness. This lighting kit is highly versatile, which has many combined benefits of fluorescent lighting kit and strobe lighting kit. First, unlike the typical light banks you have seen before, this light bank is designed for the use of both the fluorescent light and strobe light. When your task does not demand the full power from the strobe light, you can simply go with one AS-150 along with its light bank. You can screw the strobe unit either to one of the three light sockets, located on the front of the light bank, or screw it into the rear light socket. You may also use the fluorescent bulbs, ranging from 40 watts to 120watts whatever is appropriate. The lighting kit may be converted to a fluorescent lighting kit if you just use three fluorescent bulbs for the shoot. The strobe lighting kit is both dimmable and power adjustable since bulbs or strobe lights are controlled by independent switches in the rear of the light bank. In other words, this is truly the lighting kit that allows you to use both the fluorescent bulbs and strobe lights as the main source of light.

This strobe lighting kit mainly consists of two PE-3224(Link) light holders, which are compatible with powerful strobe light, the AS-150. By comparing the AS-150 with other strobe lights with similar features, you will notice the AS-150 is the most lightweight with the highest level of mobility. Unlike typical strobe light that requires users to carry and install additional reflectors to the softbox, the AS-150 does not require the user to carry reflectors since they have been built-in. With the use of umbrellas, user can light up the largest area possible and obtain quality image results when the softboxes are put to use.
